Tasting Notes
A very pale thing in the glass, this: an encouraging lemon-and-lime hue. Aromas relate to summer meadows, possibly alpine and meadows near orchards at that. Lovely scents of fresh flowers combine with ripe apple aromas to welcome the drinker. The palate is a slightly restless combination of superbly juicy acidity and the compact fruit, slightly aloof. It's a wonderfully light drink, but has huge reserves of energy and vim. Structure offers a clay-like grip in this dry, lively mouthful. This could do with some food, but oh boy, what a delightful drink, perfect for summer tippling. Bowes Wine original note
